Just in time for National Food Truck Day, Austin's famous food truck scene got a big national shoutout. There are nine food trucks from Austin on Yelp's 2025 list of the Top 100 Food Trucks in the U.S., with two of them making it into the Top 10.

Jim's Smokehouse, which serves spicy Texas barbecue at the Rock House Bar and Trailer Park in the Four Points area, came in second, just behind Tony's Catch in Kauai, Hawaii.

T-Loc's Sonora Hot Dogs came in at No. 8, with its tasty Sonoran-style dogs wrapped in bacon that won over a lot of fans at the 5000 Burnet trailer park.

That was not all the praise that Paprika ATX (No. 19), a taco truck located off North Lamar near Michi Ramen and Stiles Switch BBQ, received for its bold, modern flavors.

Off West Parmer Lane, Bodhi Viet Vegan (No. 23), which serves plant-based Vietnamese food, stood out for its fresh and tasty food.

People loved the authentic ceviche and seafood meals at Ceviche7 (No. 30), a Peruvian food truck on West 30th Street.

Buenos Sabores (No. 48) off of North FM 620 rounds out Austin's strong presence. Other mentions were East Seventh Street's Granny's Tacos (No. 58) and Flavia's Kitchen (No. 68) on El Lamar Blvd.

People from Brazil love Boteco (No. 69), which can be found at The Picnic Food Truck Park on Barton Springs Road.

Yelp said that the culture of food trucks is still going strong as chefs bring a mix of fancy and creative comfort food to the streets. Mobile kitchens are providing big taste and low prices because customers want easy access to innovative, real food experiences.

People all over the country are noticing that Austin's food trucks are doing something right, whether it is peach ceviche, smoked brisket, or veggie bánh mì.
