The University of Texas has been chosen as one of 16 regional host sites for the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship in 2025. This will be the 38th time that the Longhorns have hosted this part of the event.
Texas (42-12) is going to the NCAA playoffs for the 64th time. They are back after having the best regular season in 15 years. The Austin Regional will begin at UFCU Disch-Falk Field on May 30.
The Longhorns have a 155-59-1 (.723) record, including an 87-22 (.798) record at home in Austin. They have always been strong in Regional play.
This year, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt are the other seven SEC teams named as Regional hosts. Texas is one of them. On Monday at 11 a.m. CST on ESPN2, the whole field of 64 teams will be shown.
In 2022, Louisiana Tech, Dallas Baptist, and Air Force came to Austin to play in the Longhorns' last regional.
Longhorn Foundation donors at the Icon level and above will be able to get tickets to the Austin Regional beginning Tuesday, May 27, at 10 a.m. It will be possible for anyone to buy a single-session ticket on Thursday, May 29, at 10 a.m.
